BMR Announces a Manual Brake Conversion for 2005-14 Mustang

BMR Suspension has made a name for themselves with their high-quality suspension hardware for late-model and classic muscle cars alike. One of their more popular product lines is the 2005-14 S197 Mustangs. You can currently order just about everything you’ll need to turn your S197 into a solid drag missile, or competent corner carver relatively easy with the help of BMR.

These days, they’ve been expanding their product portfolio to include things like brake kits and other components. They’ve just announced a Manual Brake Conversion Kit for S197 Mustangs, and we have the details for you below.

Official Release:

BMR Manual Brake Conversion Kit for 2005 – 2014 Mustang

Reduce weight and increase braking abilities with a Manual Brake Conversion Kit for your S197 Mustang from BMR Suspension. When you build a high-performance street or race car, the factory braking system can get in the way and will not give you proper brake fluid delivery needed for aftermarket brake systems. The MBK750’s 1-1/32-inch bore master cylinder is properly sized for a four-piston, high-performance brake system. This means you will have the correct volume and pressure to stop your car no matter which aftermarket brake system you have installed.

The BMR Manual Brake Conversion Kit (MBK750) allows you to switch to a manual master cylinder with no fabrication. This bolt-in kit mounts using existing holes in the firewall and includes a Strange Engineering master cylinder, billet aluminum adapter block, and all of the hardware to mount the pushrod to the brake pedal. BMR has designed the MBK750 for street performance, drag racing, and handling applications. BMR Suspension’s MBK750 Manual Brake Conversion Kit comes in a durable finish for long lasting good looks. Installation time is 2-3 hours. Proudly made in the U.S.A.

Features:

  • Made in USA
  • Bolt-In design
  • Properly sized for a four-piston, high-performance brake system
  • Strange master cylinder, billet aluminum adapter block, and all of the hardware
