MAHLE Motorsport Introduces New PowerPak Options for Big Block Mopar Engines 383/400 Flat Top and 440 Dish PowerPak Piston Sets
Fletcher, NC, (March 21, 2023) – MAHLE Motorsport has heard the call for Big Block Mopar PowerPak piston sets. Now available in time for race season are new shelf-stocked piston sets for the 383 and 400 B series and 440 RB series that are designed with oversized valve pockets to allow for bigger valves and performance camshafts.
Both the 383,400 (B) -8.1cc Flat Top and 440 (RB) -24.6cc Dish pistons are made of high strength 4032 alloy with a slipper skirt forging and are dual coated with MAHLE’s GRAFAL® skirt coating and Phosphate dry lubricant. A 1.5, 1.5, 3.0mm performance ring set which allows for greater seal and less friction during operation is included in these PowerPaks. The sets also come with heavy duty tool steel wrist pins, clips, and are available for purchase now wherever MAHLE Motorsport PowerPak piston sets are sold.
