The people at Roush Performance are constantly at work to stay on top with new components and new vehicles. How can you blame them? The competition is fierce out there in the automotive aftermarket, and to quote a popular phrase: “You snooze, you lose!” Roush Performance is definitely not asleep at the wheel as they’ve recently unveiled their latest addition to their stable of formidable vehicles offered to the public: the Roush F-250.
First of all, if you think that all Roush Performance does is build Mustangs and Mustang accessories, you’re sadly mistaken. They’ve been working their magic on Ford’s F-150 and Raptor F-250 as well! While the F-series pickups are hardly boring, Roush has found a way to bring some excitement in the form of suspension upgrades, wheels and tires, and appearance packages. All backed by a 3-year, 36,000 mile warranty.
Capitalizing on the success of the F-series trucks, Roush is sure to stir up some likes with the big-truck crowd in the form of their new F-250 package. Starting with the aluminum F-250 Super Duty, the Roush team fits it with a custom front grille, one that not only flows more air than the factory unit, but presents a way more aggressive appearance!
Suspension components include A ROUSH/Fox 2.0 shock upgrade that offers suspension leveling at 1.5-inches, and a menacing-looking set of ROUSH 20-inch wheels shod with BFGoodrich KO2 All-Terrain 35.3-inch tires. The wheels feature integrated bead protection, with black and grey rings provided. On the outside, the Super Duty receives body color-matched fender flares with integrated clearance lighting, a ROUSH graphics package, and interior treatments to set your F-250 above the rest.
For those of you looking for some sort of crazy turbo upgrade, or nitrous or something, the 2018 ROUSH F-250 retains Ford’s stock diesel powertrain—all the better to offer a factory warranty with! This truck has so much coolness dripping off of it, that the National Mustang Racers Association (NMRA) have designated it as the Official Tow Vehicle of the NMRA for the 2018 racing season! I you want to own one of these fine trucks, check with your local ROUSH Vehicle dealer, as there’s most likely one near you. They’re already taking orders!
