BMR Announces a Coilover/Standard Mount K-Member for 1979-2004 Mustangs

It’s been over fifteen years since the final Fox/SN95 chassis’d Mustang rolled off of the assembly-line, but racers and enthusiasts are modifying them like never before. Whether that means for the dragstrip, the street or the road course, the popularity won’t be waning for these cars for quite some time.

Likewise, our friends at BMR Suspension continue to expand and improve their lineup of heavy-duty components for all late-model Mustangs.

Official Release:

BMR Coilover/Standard Mount K-Member for 1979-2004 Mustang
KM731/KM741 – $349.95

Decrease front end weight in your coilover equipped 1979-2004 Mustang with a K-member from BMR Suspension. Factory K-members are manufactured from stamped steel and are heavy and bulky. Constructed from DOM steel tubing and 3/16″ laser-cut mounting plates, our Fox Body K-Member offers uncompromised strength and durability while also shedding unnecessary weight.

The BMR K-Member (KM731/KM741) provides a weight savings of 30 pounds compared to the stock K-member. This K-Member utilizes the suspension geometry of the SN95 Mustang and features a lower steering rack mounting position which aids in eliminating bump steer in lowered cars.

BMR has designed the KM731/KM741 specifically for 1979-2004 Mustangs equipped with aftermarket coilovers and will save weight while also withstanding the abuse of drag race applications. Installation time is 3-4 hours. Available in black hammertone or red powdercoat for long lasting good looks. Proudly made in the U.S.A.

Features:

  • Made in USA
  • Lowers the weight off of the front of the car
  • Increases structural rigidity
  • Lowers steering rack mounting position, which aids in eliminating bump steer in lowered cars
