Prescott, Ariz. – Centerforce Clutches, a leading manufacturer of performance clutches for classic and late model cars and trucks, has announced the release of its DYAD DS Twin Disc Clutch for the 2018-2019 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L. This complete clutch kit includes the clutch, pressure plate and low-inertia flywheel in a match-balanced kit ready for installation.
The DYAD DS Twin Disc clutch delivers a superior clamp load over the stock clutch while still providing light pedal pressure with smooth engagement thanks to Centerforce’s patented ball bearing pressure plate, centrifugal weights and twin disc design. The clutch discs feature organic segmented facings which provides increased holding capacity and longevity, and the sprung, dampened drive disc provides improved drivability and less chatter.
This DYAD DS clutch kit is designed for street and track-driven Mustang GTs making from 500 to 1,300 pound-feet of torque.
