Official Release:

RINGBROTHERS BILLET HOOD HINGE KITS NOW AVAILABLE FOR 1978–1988 G-BODY CARS

The new hinges require no vehicle modifications and are available for both steel and fiberglass hoods

(Spring Green, Wis., 2021) – Ringbrothers, the internationally acclaimed custom car builder and billet parts manufacturer, has announced its new G-Body Hood Hinge Kits. Precision machined from aerospace-grade 6061-T6 billet aluminum, the hood hinges are direct bolt-on upgrades for GM G-Body platform cars.

Designed for use as a direct replacement, the Ringbrothers hood hinges require no modifications for vehicle installation. The strong yet lightweight aluminum hinges feature a custom gas-charged strut to provide a dramatically smoother action as compared to original mechanical spring hinges. The hinge kits allow G-Body hoods to open and close with ease in the same position every time, making proper panel gap and hood alignment easier.

Ringbrothers G-Body Hood Hinge Kits are precision engineered to work with both fiberglass and steel hoods and are available in two finishes: natural and black anodized. Like all Ringbrothers products, the new hinges were manufactured in-house to strict design, engineering, machining and quality control standards to ensure the highest quality product.

Ringbrothers hood hinges are made in the U.S.A. and are available in an open-air frame design for a truly distinguished look with uncompromised strength and durability. One set includes both driver and passenger side hinges as well as all required installation hardware and instructions. MSRP is $600 for natural finish and $650 for black anodized.
